Wednesday inTuscany

We had a bit earlier start today to allow time to take the trains to Luca or Cinque Terre. And one to Pisa to reclaim her lost bag. Poor Julie G has been without her things until now. Everyone graciously shared clothes and start supplies, especially Carol, but Julie is happy to have her own again.

Those of us, Gansens and Buelows, that went to Luca had a nice day exploring and searching for jellies, art supplies and a few lovely Italian pieces of clothing. And of course coffee, pastries, pizza and gelato!!

The others enjoyed the ferry from one small village to the other in Cinque Terre then exploring the streets. It became very crowded when tour groups arrived from the ships.

The Luca group arrived back just in time for a quick drink before dinner. The meal tonight was delicious as always. Pasta with vegetables, salmon and fresh lettuce from the gardens tomatoes. An apple cake finished the dinner. As always, coffee with digestiffs was served in the salon with the group slowly fading away to an early bed. We were all tired from the walking up and down hilly streets.

Only two more days at Watermill! This is so lovely and we are treated so well. Reality will be hard to accept!
