We are winging our way back to Buenos Aires and will spend the night at the Fierro again. Hopefully the restaurant we've selected to try will be good. The mix is grilled meat and Italian dishes. The history of Argentina is both Spanish and Italian so the food reflects both heritages...as does the wine
We enjoyed the falls tour with a private guide. They were massive and gallons of water poured over and down. George was able to do the river ride taking him up close and drenching him with water. At the end we were hot, sweaty and tired.
After showering and a rest we wandered down to the pool by the water for drinks. Looking over the river into Brazil was so pleasant until the clouds let loose. Our mozzarella sticks served as supper, and lunch as they were like sticks of butter size, breaded and served with BBQ sauce. Yum.
This is a beautiful hotel, a little frayed in spots but very quiet. In retrospect and after talking to others, we should have stayed at the Milea in the park oh well, water over the rocks!!! Next time.
We hope to see some of the city before leaving for Uruguay on Thursday.
