Photos later when I have the ability. We visited St. Lucia, Barbados and Martinique and are on our way to St. Thomas. The beach yesterday in Martinique was beautiful but took an hour to get to and was expensive. Maybe worth it as it was long and George enjoyed walking it a couple of times.
The food on this ship is very good and I'm enjoying the unusual combinations of ingredients. I'm trying not to eat too many carbs and drink water...a challenge!
We have been to the shows. Very different from Princess. No singers. Dancers are ballet mostly and they use video on the walls. I liked it the first time then the second was a little boring. Saw Top Gun, a mans movie. A Nerd who did Rubic cubes and spouted Shakespear from memory. I fell asleep. The music walk of Rock and Roll, Billboards and BBKing is a nice idea and the music is good but so loud it hurts my ears. I can't stay to listen. We love the pool desk at the stern.. The center pool has a cover that can be opened and shut, lounge chairs, and a pizza, deli place. Nice but crowded and warm if the roof is shut.
The ship is really quality all around. We've met and chatted with several people and are now seeing them around and at meals again. Fun. I sat with a young couple from Hungary on the long van ride and enjoyed talking to him about his travels. They had only carry ons...and shorts and swimsuits with them.
So we are enjoying the leisure time reading and sunning, eating good food. Today I woke up thinking of FMBAA and all we must do to keep it viable. Big job ahead but there is a great team working on it.
