Picnic breakfast and lunch gave us the ok to have a nice dinner. From that AAA. book we picked out Carneval Brazilian because of a huge salad bar and interesting way of serving the entre. Gauchos came to the table bearing skewers of various meats and carved off what you wanted. The guys had that specialty, small version, and Dale and I had only salad....and wine of course!!
Now for a nice shower and prep for the next leg into Rapid City and Mount Rushmore.
So far a great trip!!!!
Michele you looked like you were taking off in the lunch shot! I remember living in Des Moines-wind was always blowing! In fact according to the Book of Facts that Des Moines was more windy than Chicago and they had more bowling alleys that any other city their size! Such great things to be know for. right?
ReplyDeleteWhile in Rapid City, if you have time, The Stave Church is very interesting and the little museum they have on site gives a nice insight into the Norse lifestyle in frontier days. We really enjoyed seeing it. Plus it is free though donations are accepted.
Enjoy your adventure!
