Today we left our home away from home and came back to semi reality..no more fine dinners, cabin stewards picking up our towels and making our beds, no entertainment after dinner or endless amusements and adventured. At least until the next time we step aboard a ship!!
Vancouver seems to be a lovely city..nicer if it were clear and sunny which we are hoping for this afternoon. Meanwhile we are checked into the hotel for a couple of nights and are getting ready to do a bit more sightseeing. George has a cold and Dale is fighting one, Dennis recovering from his. ...Only I have not succumbed so far. Fingers crossed as they are all dragging.
Tomorrow we will visit Vancouver Island but today hope to get on the hop on hop off bus to tour the city and visit Stanley Park which all say to see. I hope to see some of the totem poles painted by Emily Carr and perhaps tomorrow visit her home. Now off to the city!!
